How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
NEC originally served primarily the utility and mining industries. As the demands for power grew, machine ratings increased in response, and NEC began manufacturing high-voltage stator windings in the late 1940s.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Many businesses that offer similar services do not have their own manufacturing capabilities.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
NEC has two locations, one in Columbus, Ohio and one in Brownsville, Texas.
